FINdr ("we", "us") respects your privacy and complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.
When you create an account we collect your name and email address. If you use the quiz, learning tools, or shortlist, we store your progress and saved items so the app works for you.
We do not collect sensitive personal data unless you choose to send it to us in a message.
We process your account data to provide the service (performance of a contract).
We may send you marketing emails about new features and careers. The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you sign up and can withdraw at any time.
We keep anonymised analytics to improve the product (legitimate interests).
If you sign up, your email address is added to our mailing list (the "waitlist"). We only send marketing emails to users who have not unsubscribed.
You can withdraw consent at any time on the unsubscribe page, or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. After that, we stop sending you marketing emails.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep it for legal reasons.
We use service providers (such as our hosting and email platforms) to run the app. They process data on our behalf and only under contract. We never sell your personal data.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for marketing. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
For any privacy request, email contactus@findr-career-compass.com and we will respond within 30 days.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and, with your permission, analytics cookies to improve FINdr. See our Cookies Policy.
